Four days to go! How ya doin' Feb 9ers
How's everyone doing? I'm glad to see that this week's surgeries have gone well to date. 
Its end of day 10 of the pre op diet and I have had a hell of a time following it to the letter. I've only eaten what's allowed since my past diet indiscretions, but sticking to the letter of the law... well...
My pre op physical is tomorrow. Last step (hurdle?) before my surgical "Due Date". I'm nervous because tomorrow I'll know if my liver has shrunk to an acceptable size. I don't see why it would not have but you never know. I've read so many postings about surgeries postponed it has me a little worried.
My educational class was Tuesday and it came with a written exam. Can you believe it! I scored 100% to my surprise. I'm sure its because of what I learned reading OH message boards.

I'm ready, I think! I keep thinking I should be more nervous or anxious. Maybe I've been too busy to worry 
My pre-op diet has been a bit of a struggle. I keep running into food that I know I won't every be eating again. UGH! So, I too have had indiscretions. I'm not required to do a liquid diet, with the exception of day before surgery (8 hours to be specific), but I am switching to all protein shakes for Friday-Sunday.
Regarding my liver, my doc never discussed liver shrinkage, he felt around and said all felt okay, so I guess he isn't worried, so I'm not going to worry.
I can't wait till next week when we all start checking back in...FROM THE LOSERS BENCH.
